Danial shares how, at just 24 years old, he found himself living in a nursing home after being kicked out of his parents' house. His early adulthood was marked by repeated home arrests and expulsion from college, leaving him feeling as though his future had slipped away.

Eventually, he made the decision to change the direction of his life. Through determination and perseverance, Danial rebuilt his future and dedicated himself to helping others facing mental health challenges.

 

Today, he works in a crisis unit in Rogers Park, using his own lived experience to connect with and support people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. His story is one of resilience, personal growth, and the possibility of transformation.
